PAUL FIRST NATION ASSISTED LIVING PROGRAM
To be eligible for funding, recipients must be ordinarily a resident on reserve; the service is provided by referral from the Health Centre as per assesment by a Health Professional.
We have Full-Time clients-assessment updates are one per year. Temporary clients-assessment updates depend on length of time requiring a Homemaker; example a period of 3 months, an update would be once per month. We also have a Respite service for clients/Homemakers which is 6 weeks.
We also have a Rotating Homemaker in place to accomodate those clients who do not fit the criteria for Full-time service.
AISH (ALBERTA INCOME FOR THE SEVERELY HANDICAPPED)
As part of the assisted living program, we also assist clients who are referred to us by a Caseworker with applications for A.I.S.H.
